Alexa Giannico

Lyrical, Ballet & Technique.


Alexa is a 2014 Dean College Graduate who received her B.A. in Dance from the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance.​Throughout her education, she trained under the direction of Jill Silverman, Gregory King, Nailah Randall Belinger, Kelly Peters, Todd Shanks, Ricardo Foster and many others.​

Alexa has been dancing since the age of four and is classically trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop and Tap. She has taken classes all over Westchester and New York City, as well as attended summer intensives such as Alvin Ailey and the Joffrey Ballet School.​Upon graduating, Alexa found a deeper love for teaching and choreographing. Her passion for dance led her to work with many students who were as eager to learn as she was.

Alexa’s choreography has won many awards at dance competitions all over the Tri-State area.​

In 2017, Alexa graduated with her Masters in School Counseling where she will continue to work with today’s youth, and be able to apply skills through her teaching experience.​
